AQuegel, AQuegel Cosmetics base product, is a revolutionary homeopathic moisturizer that contains an aqueous solution encapsulated in a gelatinized base.  The aqueous solution contains water and essential salts to make it more like the moisture inside the human body.  This allows our aqueous solution to be more readily absorbed by the body when applied topically.  The gelatinized base slowly dissolves when exposed to body heat releasing moisture to the areas it is applied to over time, unlike other moisturizers that apply moisture at the time of application and require frequent applications.  AQuegel uses the time release properties of the gelatinized base like an aqueduct to deliver a steady stream of moisture to the areas being treated resulting in the need to only be applied every 8 to 12 hours, typically.  Our products were developed to combat the affects of living in a dry climate and to treat drying caused by certain medications, and oxygen usage.

AQuegel Cosmetics' Director of Product Development, Dr. Mitchell, has more than 25 years of varied experience in research, teaching, clinical pharmacology, and retail pharmacy.  He received his degrees in biology and organic chemistry from Lebanon Valley College, his degrees in pharmacy and medicinal chemistry from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. 

Dr. Mitchell has lived and worked in the south shore area of Massachusetts, the Hawaiian Islands, and currently lives and works in the rocky mountain region of Colorado.  It was after moving to Colorado that Dr. Mitchell realized the great need for a time released moisturizing product.  The dry climate of Colorado caused him to see many more patients complaining of dry skin, and nose bleeds than he had seen when living next to the ocean.  He also realized that there was virtually no products that he could recommend to his patients that would provide long lasting moisture to reduce their irritation and suffering.  Using his extensive knowledge in chemistry he developed a homeopathic, topical gel with time release properties to treat his patients.  This revolutionary product, AQuegel, is now available to everyone who suffers with dry skin.
